Hi, my name is Lizzy S, and I am a compassionate and experienced home carer seeking a new role. With several years of experience in caring for individuals with various needs, I am confident in my ability to provide high-quality care and companionship.
Having worked with clients who have mild cognitive impairment, are bedbound, have Parkinson's disease, and experience mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression, I understand the unique needs and challenges that individuals face. I am skilled in providing assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care, while also offering much-needed companionship and emotional support.
Although I cannot drive nor do I have a car, I am more than willing to utilize other means of transportation to ensure my clients' needs are met. In addition to my caregiving skills, I am also passionate about painting, gardening, DIY projects, and writing. These hobbies help me maintain a well-rounded and balanced life, which in turn allows me to provide the best care possible.
Furthermore, I am comfortable working in homes with cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds, and I believe that the presence of pets can greatly contribute to a positive and healing environment.
Above all, my motivation for being a home carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives. I genuinely care about the well-being and happiness of my clients, and I am committed to making a positive difference in their lives.
